A Taste of Something New

So I've decided after getting photo of the day (on lifestylemirror.com) that I should put a little more effort into this whole photography thing. This also means keeping up with the blog. So here is another photo for all to enjoy!

This was shot on a beach in Chicago not too long ago while going out for a stroll in this crazy hot flash the world is going through.

Today my photo is on lifestylemirror.com. I couldn't be more happy about it.

This photo was taken underneath the Michigan Ave bridge in Chicago, IL. This photo was taken when there was construction on the bridge which makes this photo more intriguing. This is one of my favorite photos I have taken to date.  

Final

The concept I chose for this project was to do an unusual portraits fellow class mates. The portraits are not of the face but rather of their desks, untouched on a normal day. I feel this gives a more intimate look into someones daily routine by looking at the state of their desks. The captions for each picture include the academic year, sex, major, and an extra curricula if applicable.
